Bobby Carrol Sherman

Bobby was born March 29, 1949, in Selma, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ledrue and Hazel Delphene Sherman. Also, by his sister, Ruby Nell, his brother Jimmy Lee; and his son, Charles William.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Bobby Lee (Sonja), Mary Elizabeth “Libby,” Timothy (Dawn), Susan (Richard), Raymond “Bubba” (Alicia), and Heather Allison; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bobby spent many years working as a manager in lumber yards before retiring in 2006 and beginning a second career with Walmart. He was beloved by all who knew him and was known for his love of sports, none more than the Ole Miss Rebels.

It was Bobby’s wish to be cremated. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 4 - 6 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
