Bobby Ray Messer

Bobby R. Messer, Jr., age 56, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in Jackson.
Bobby was the owner and operator of Cheap Butts and will be remembered as a fun-loving and happy person who loved life. He lived for his grandchildren. Bobby was an avid golfer and loved old cars. He was a volunteer for years for Cruisin' the Coast.
He is survived by his wife, Peaches Messer; son, Justin Messer (and Kristin); father, Bobby R. Messer, Sr. (and Carolyn); mother, Patricia Ann Dobbs; grandchildren, Cameron Tyler Messer, Cooper Tanner Messer, and Mackenzie Reese Messer; sister, Bonnie Lynn Johnson (and TJ); step-sister, Andrea Seymour (and Brian); and an extended family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held two hours prior.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
