UPDATED SERVICE INFO: SMSGT Bobbie L. Molsbee, U.S. Air Force, Ret, age 91, of Long Beach, joined his loving wife of 65 years, Mildred Molsbee, in Heaven on January 25, 2014.
Mr. Molsbee is preceded in death by his wife and a grandson, Robbie Molsbee.
He is survived by his children, Dr. R.G. (Glenn) Molsbee and his wife, Faye, of Gulfport and their children, Regina (Richard) Cox, and Randall (Kristie) Molsbee; Richard Molsbee and his wife, Nita, of Carabelle, FL, and his children, Kimberly and Kendal; Rev. Ronald O. (Donna) Molsbee, of Ocean Springs, and his children, Lawanna (Michael) Rogers and AnnJeanette (Larry) Givens; Lynn M. Robertson and her husband, Roe, of Mobile, AL, and their children, Tonya Parker and Bryan Robertson; Karen Molsbee of Long Beach, and her children, Khara Molsbee, and James Ricky (Nataliya) Molsbee; twelve great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Rebekah Cox, Sienna and Hollen ""Earl"" Molsbee, Joshua Parker, Marleigh Robertson, Chris Ballard, Patrick Bone, Holly Maucher, J.B. Rogers, Cody and Curtis Poole, and Katy Molsbee; several great-great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Roebuck of Shelbyville, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Molsbee served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 30 years of service serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After active duty retirement, he worked for 23 years in Civil Service for a total of 53 years of loyal and faithful service to his country. He was a member of ""Discovery Church"" - First Pentecostal Church, UPCI, Gulfport, where he served in various leadership capacities for many years including Church Treasurer and Trustee Board Member.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ""Discovery Church"" - First Pentecostal Church, UPCI, P.O. Box 45, Gulfport, MS 39502.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Stephen Baker for his years of friendship and extraordinary care.
The funeral service will be at 2pm, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at ""Discovery Church"" - First Pentecostal Church, UPCI, 2601 17th Ave, Gulfport. The visitation will begin at 1pm in the church. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 9am.
