Bobbie G. Bostick

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Bobbie G. Bostick's heart was gently passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on October 3, 1941, in Sweetwater, Texas, Bobbie’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her home. She held an associate's degree, which she valued as a stepping stone to a life as a homemaker devoted to nurturing and caring for those around her.

Bobbie profoundly impacted the lives of her loved ones as a mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her children, Rick Bostick and wife Dianna, Candy Walsh and husband Barry, and Stephanie Bourgeois and husband Steve. In addition to her children, she leaves behind the legacy of her love in her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will remember her warmth and kindness for years to come. Bobbie was also survived by her sister, Yetta Adams.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Hurst and Joveda Jackson; her devoted husband, Bill Bostick; and her beloved daughter, BeaAnn Cox. Their memories will always be held dear in the hearts of those she has left behind.

She was laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport, Mississippi, a testament to a life well-lived and a family cherished. Bobbie G. Bostick’s gentle spirit and generous heart will be missed but never forgotten. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
