Blayne Suzanne McPherson, age 78, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi.
A longtime resident of Long Beach, Blayne graduated from Long Beach High School before attending Perkinston Junior College and Mississippi State University. She later graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. Following college, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi, where she worked as an Advertising Artist for the Clarion-Ledger and McRae’s. She also served as Director of Advertising for Belk’s Fine Jewelry and Ellis Enterprises (Popeyes).
Blayne was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin McPherson and Della Sue McPherson; her first husband, Danny Armstrong; and her second husband, Bill Watson.
She is survived by her beloved fur babies, CiCi and Precious; and her cousins, Penny McClain, Layne Mitchell, Diane Stevenson, Jerry Stevenson, Mark Lishen, Adam Stevenson, Greg Stevenson, Tara Covington, and Jason Stevenson.
The family extends special thanks to the compassionate staff at St. Joseph Hospice Care for their loving support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with the Celebration Service at 2:00 p.m. Following services, Blayne will be laid to rest at Long Beach City Cemetery.
