Blakeley Quinn Hammons, age 6, of Long Beach, passed away on December 6, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mary Susan Madigan, Patrick Raymond Madigan, William Austin “Bill” Seal, Jr, Carl Eric Hanson, Ronald Efford Hammons, and Geraldine Loretto Hammons.
She is survived by her mother, Kadie Alexis Williams; her father, Aaron James Hammons; her siblings, Ronan James Hammons and Arya Madigan Nasr; her grandparents, Melinda Leigh “YaYa” Seal, William Austin “Pops” Seal, III; Brian Keith “Paw Paw” Hammons, Krista Elaine “KK” Hammons, and Anthony Marion “Papa” Williams; her great-grandparents, Lorraine Judith “Maw Maw” Hanson, Phyllis Elaine “Maw Maw” Seal, Sharon “Maw Maw” Haley, and Phil “Paw Paw” Haley; her aunts, Brayden Hatem “Nanny” Seal, Addyson Leigh “Addy” Seal, and Haley Michelle “Hay Hay” Hammons; her uncles, BK Hammons, Zander Williams, and Bryce Williams; her step-dad, Charles Dean Toler; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Blakeley was a resident of Long Beach and was a student at Quarles Elementary School. She participated in Buddy Ball and received the game ball after her first game. She was also Cub of the Week at Quarles Elementary. In 2020, Blakeley was honored as the first “Princess” from the Carnival Association of Long Beach honoring the legacy of both sides of her family. She enjoyed playing the piano, Fortnite, cooking, dancing, singing, playing pranks on others, drawing, Barbie Dolls, coloring, swimming, trips to Disney World, and vlogging.
Blakeley touched the lives of everyone in the Long Beach community. She always had a smile that would light up any room. Her strength and determination was evident every time she encountered an obstacle. She was the bravest girl!

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
For those that will attend the visitation and mass, the family requests that you wear “Grinch” colors, pink, or anything bright – not black!
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 12 – 2 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm in the church.
