Billy Edward McLain, Jr, 61, of Kiln, MS passed away at his home on Thursday, November 23, 2017 after a hard, but bravely fought battle with cancer.
Billy was a native of Bay St. Louis and a resident of Kiln, MS. He was a 1974 graduate of Bay High School in Bay St. Louis, MS. Before becoming ill, Billy worked for Coastal Metal Works in Picayune, MS.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, step-father, brother, brother-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by his family and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Edward McLain, Sr., Jannelle Kay White McLain; grandparents, Charles John Van Trier, Maybelle Farve Van Trier, Velma Heaton Taconi, James McLain, Brother-in-Law, Steve Martin, and Step-Grandson Charles Keegan Stroud.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Helena Martin McLain of Kiln, Ms; son, Billy Edward McLain III (Liz) of Tampa, FL; step-sons, Joseph Robert Martin (Laura) of Bay St. Louis, MS, Jacob Lee Tomaszewski (Natalie) of Hillsboro, OR; Daughters, Eren Abigail Armiger (Tom) of Auburn, AL, Michelle Lee Clark of Kiln, MS; Step-Daughter Amanda Jean Fay Feger Stroud (Charlie) of Picayune, MS; Grandchildren, Faith Stroud, Kyleigh Feger, Robert Martin, Noah Stroud, John Martin, Blake McLain, Sofia Armiger, Maeve McLain, and Olivia Armiger; his siblings, Robert Charles McLain, Sr (Patsy) and Cheryl Jean McLain Bragg (Harold) both of Bay St. Louis, MS; Brother-in-Law, Michael Martin of Bay St. Louis, MS, Sister-in-Law Tammy Martin, Deer Valley, AR; Nephews, Robert McLain, Jr, Timothy Bragg, Jarred Bragg, James Boswell, Jonathan Boswell; Niece, Elizabeth McLain and several great nieces and nephews.
Billy was an avid Harley Motorcycle rider with a love for the feel of the wind in his face and the sun at his back. He loved to tinker with vintage motorcycles and cars. He had an undeniable green thumb as all plants he took care of flourished under his gentle care.

A Celebration of Billy's Life will be held on the grounds of The Broke Spoke, Kiln, MS on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1pm. A Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle will be held to help the family with funeral expenses.
