Billie Ammons Lowry

Mrs. Billie Ammons Lowry, age 95, of Long Beach, passed away on May 22, 2024.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Homa Smith; her husband of five years, Stanley Lowry; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Paske.

She is survived by her sons, David Paske and John Paske (Lori); her grandchildren Christopher Paske (Katie), and Benjamin Paske (Christa); and great grandchildren Chloe and Claire Paske. 

Billie graduated Gulfport East High in 1946. She was a proud charter member of the Humane Society of Gulfport. Her hobbies included rescuing animals and handicrafts. 

She was a well-loved member of society known for her abundant kindness and generous heart toward both animals and people. She always did her part to make the world a better place and many lives were touched during her time on Earth.

A visitation will take place at Riemann Family Funeral Home of Long Beach Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
