Bidwell Ladner

Bidwell J. Ladner, age 91, passed away October 23, 2016 surrounded by his family.
""Bid"" or ""BJ"", as he was called by family and friends, was drafted into the Army in 1943 to serve in WWII. He received the Purple Heart Award. After being discharged in 1946, he went to work at the Gulfport VA as a CNA and retired after 30 years. In 1947, he married Edna Lizana and they had 7 children.
Bid is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Justina Ladner , his first wife, Edna Ladner, his sisters, Gladys, Myrtis, and Marietta.
Bid is survived by his children, Harry (Nancy) Ladner, David (Jennie) Ladner, Vicky Robinson, Stevie (Pam) Ladner, Jennifer (Rubin) Sison, Jeffery (Rochelle) Ladner and Randy (Lisa) Ladner, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His siblings, Lee (Eunice) Ladner, Nancy Dubuisson, Bernard (Carol) Ladner and Joan (Cotton) Ladner. Bid re-married to Doris Muniz in 2010.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. Burial will be Thursday, October 27, at 10 am in Biloxi National Cemetery.
