Beverly Mauffray Hosch

Beverly Mauffray Hosch, age 89 of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

Beverly was born on May 7, 1935 in Bay St. Louis to John Claude “Peck” Mauffray and Willietta Garriga Mauffray. She graduated from Kiln Consolidated High School in 1953 and began her career with South Central Bell in New Orleans. She retired after 35 years of service at the Gulfport office.

She was a great cook and loved to entertain. Beverly and Louis enjoyed their home on the water at Eagle Point and wanted everyone else to enjoy it too. Many good times were shared with family and friends throughout the years, and she was always the life of the party. Great memories that will last forever.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Louis Neill Hosch in 2021; her parents, Peck and Willietta Mauffray; as well as her siblings, C.J. Mauffray, Carole Ann Mauffray, Gerald Mauffray, Barry Mauffray and Roxanne Mauffray Read.

She is survived by her daughters, Coy (Tom) Pena of Homestead, FL and Carole (Mike) Axton of Laurel, MS; grandchildren, who loved Grammy dearly and will carry on her love of life and laughter, Ashlee Pena, Adam Axton, Kristen (Roshy) Overholt, and Anna (Decker) Coley; and great grandchildren, Jordan and Reese Overholt. She is also survived by Joe Krivanec, whom she loved like a son; her sister, Pam Mauffray, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other special people that she and Louis took under their wings throughout their lifetime.

There will be a celebration of life from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at their home in Eagle Point, 10452 Riviere Vue Drive, Biloxi. Please dress casually and wear bright colors to celebrate her life well lived.
