Betty Ann Cole Whitehead, resident of D'Iberville, MS, passed away on July 6, 2015 at the age of 72.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Jane Cole; her father, Jeptha Q. Cole; and two brothers, James ""Bud"" Cole and E.M. Courtney.
Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ulus Muton Whitehead; three daughters, Judy DeCausey of D'Iberville, Linda (Steve) Ferguson of Latimer, MS, and Stacey (Michael) Burnside of Madison, MS; two sisters, Dorothy Guy of Hattiesburg, MS, Eddie Jo Smith of Ellisville, MS; and a brother, Marvin Courtney of Oak Grove, MS; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Lemoyne Blvd and Washington Ave, Ocean Springs with a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 PM until the service. Burial will be in Cruthirds Memorial Gardens, Latimer, on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
