Betty Varnado

Betty Lou Burge Varnado, age 81, of Biloxi, died Friday, December 30, 2016 in Biloxi.
Ms. Varnado was a native of Necaise Crossing and a resident of Biloxi. She attended Sellers School and was a former secretary of Saucier Elementary School for many years.
She was of Baptist faith and was a member of Eastern Star, Perkinston Chapter # 376. She was a member of the Crimson Rose Red Hat Society. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Ms. Varnado was preceded in death by her husband, Van L. Varnado; a daughter, Iris Ann Varnado; and a grandson, Christopher L. DeCair.
She is survived by her daughter, Ramona DeCair of Biloxi, MS; sons, Greg (Melissa) Varnado of Biloxi, MS, and Keith (Kim) Varnado of Flowood, MS; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter Grey.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Saucier Cemetery.
