Betty Marie Wyatt Shiyou, age 74 and a resident of Kiln, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Royce Shiyou; her parents, Cleveland Wyatt, Sr. and Edwina Haas Wyatt; her siblings, Louise Depreo, Cleveland Wyatt Jr., and Edward Wyatt and her son-in-law, Jay Cuevas.
Mrs. Shiyou is survived by her daughters, Maydene Shiyou (Bruce) Hessler of San Antonio, TX, Patricia Shiyou Cuevas of Kiln, and Nancy Shiyou (Patrick) Kelly Sr. of Slidell, LA; her grandchildren, Jamie Cuevas, Joshua Hessler, Allison Hessler, Lance Cuevas, and Patrick Kelly, Jr. and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Cuevas and Harper Cuevas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11:00am at Annunciation Catholic Church (in the new building), where friends may visit from 9:30am until the service. Burial will follow at Bayou CoCo Cemetery in the Kiln.
Funeral arrangements were handled by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian.
