Betty Ryan

Betty Ryan, age 91, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on January 13, 2026.

Betty’s greatest joy in life was her family. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she treasured time spent together and especially loved family gatherings filled with laughter and connection. She found comfort and happiness in the simple beauty around her, enjoying birds, flowers, and the quiet presence of nature. Betty will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the deep love she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Shannon Pugh, and Jerry Pugh; two brothers; five sisters; and one great-granddaughter.

Betty is survived by her son, Jeffrey M. Pugh, and her daughters, Vivian Cuevas and Betty Boone. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy in her life, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, Mississippi. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at Finley Cemetery.
