Betty Patton

Mrs. Betty Patton, age 82, loving wife, mother, and maw-maw, passed away on August 4, 2017 in Gulfport, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Saucier.
In all her life she never met a stranger and always put her family ahead of herself. She was loved by many family and friends and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Bond; husband, Delmer Patton; four brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her three children, Ronnie Patton (Sherry), Rod Patton (Evelyn), Angela Moseley (Keith); five grandchildren, Laurajo Bond, TJ Bruce, Brad Patton, Amber Baker, Keely Moseley; six great grandchildren, Dawson, Aaron, Savanna, Jeffrey, Kinzey, and Sara; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends at the Saucier Senior Citizens Center.
She worked for the Garment Factory in Pass Christian and Long Beach for over 25 years. She drove the school bus route in Saucier for Harrison County School District for 7 years. She regularly enjoyed going to Herrin's Short Stop where she visited with friends. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and gardening in her flower beds.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 1-3 PM at Saucier Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM at the church. Interment will be held at Saucier Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
