Betty Jean ""Dommie"" Muller (Buckley) died peacefully in Craighead Nursing Home on November 8, 2014 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 84 following a courageous battle with cancer and dementia. She was a beautiful, energetic and vivacious person who loved her family.
Betty is survived by her husband, Arnold ""Bud"" Muller; daughters, Jeannie Cook (Danny) of Biloxi, Mississippi, Edith Snell (Bob) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Gary Williamson (Laurie) of Middletown, NY and eight beloved grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Bert Emmons, her mother, Iva Belle Hudson, and her son, Joey Buckley. Betty was born on August 8, 1930 in Roseville, Michigan.
She was the owner and operator of Greengate Day Care Center and Kindergarten in Gulfport for 18 years and loved working with children. She was passionate about cooking and she owned the Gourmet Pasta House on Teagarden. She was member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi before moving to Jonesboro, AR after Hurricane Katrina.
A visitation is scheduled for 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Monday, December 1, at First Baptist Church Biloxi. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
