Betty Marie Lynch

Betty Marie Lynch passed away at her home in Gulfport, MS on July 30, 2015 at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Betty is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Bobby; her mother and father, Betty J. and James H. Simpson; her brothers James, June, Mick, Brice, Carrol and Fred.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her sons Barry (Robin) and Rodney (Jeni); grandchildren Brittany Lynch, Courtney Lynch, Timothy Lynch, Jessica (Brock) Wright and Jack Joyce-Lynch; brothers David (Cynthia) Simpson and Boyce (Libby) Simpson; and many others whose lives she touched.
Betty was born in Concord, NC in 1938. She graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1956 and went on to be the glue that held her family together.
Betty enjoyed singing at church, cross stitching, crocheting, needlepoint, traveling the country with Bob, reading and sampling restaurant buffets. Betty won awards for her cross stitching.
The visitation will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday, August 4, at 12:45 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday, August 4, at 1:45 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Miliam officiating. Interment to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Deaconess Hospice.
