Betty Lerch

Betty Lerch, age 85, passed away on November 16, 2021 in Pass Christian, MS.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lerch; four brothers, Sam, Herman, Marvin and Bill; one sister, Ida; parents, John and Louise Penton; step-daughter Donna Warnick; step-son, Larry Lerch; grandchild Glenn “Buddaman” Polk Jr.; step-grandchild, Robert Lerch; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Polk.

She is survived by her children, Bill Polk (Diane), Glenn Polk and Ava Christine; siblings, Vera Necaise and Charles Penton; grandchildren, Christy, Jessica, Billy, Ashley, Brandy, Felicia, Jack, Chaze, David, Christina, Kayla, Gayle, Robbie, Jamie, Tim, Kim and Kelly; 37 great-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Betty was born in Louisiana and a resident of Pass Christian. She was a housewife and enjoyed working in the yard and cooking. She was a very loving and kind soul, always forgiving, and loved by all that knew her.

Funeral services for Betty will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM with visitation starting at 11:00 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
