Betty Jane Lee, 90, a lifelong McComb resident, died Oct. 17, 2012, in Biloxi, following a long illness.
Friends are invited to join the family at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb for a graveside service celebrating her life. The Rev. Dick Swayze will officiate.
Mrs. Lee was born Jan. 1, 1922, in McComb, to Mattie and Lawrence Lee.
She was a longtime employee of J.C. Penney Co., and in her later years, she worked for First Bank and Fernwood Country Club before opening her own catering business. She was an active member of J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church until her declining health prevented further active participation.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith Lee and Sam Tucker and Peggy Lee and Bob DeCoux.
Survivors include a niece, Martha DeCoux Harper (William); and nephews, Sam Tucker (Dickey) and Robbie DeCoux (Andrea); and a host of great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church in McComb, or to a charity of choice.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Biloxi assisted the family with local arrangements.
