Betty Mae Ladner

Betty Mae Ladner, age 82, of Pass Christian, MS passed away on May 15, 2024.  She was born in Harrison County, MS to Renelder and Mabel Cuevas.  

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, partner Peggy Ladner, siblings Curvis (Juanita) Cuevas, Melton (Lorena and Pat) Cuevas, Beulah (Vent) Wilson, Jimmy James Cuevas, Nelson (Carolyn Sue) Cuevas, Beatrice Marie Cuevas, and sister-in-law Linda Cuevas. 

Betty worked for Pass Christian Industries and Triton Systems.   She enjoyed gardening, loved to cook, and was known for her famous Carrot Cake.  

Betty leaves her cherished memories to her brother Earl Cuevas; sister-in-law Donna Cuevas; godson Luke Cuevas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends 10:00 am– 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Sacred Heart Church Dedeaux, 14595 Vidalia Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm with Father Vo officiating.  Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Memorial Cemetery (aka Fenton Sand Hill) Kiln, MS.
