Betty Joyce "Granny" Franke, age 84 passed away December 18, 2017 in Gulfport.
She graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile, AL. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, cooking, canning, fishing, gardening, crocheting, quilting, and sitting in her back yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston L. Ory, Sr. and Veronica Lizana Ory; husband, Carl W. Franke, Sr., son, Roger W. Franke; most beloved aunt and uncle, Dene and Nick D'Andrea.
She is survived by her children, Carl "Bim" Franke, Jr. (Kathy), Veronica "Deanie" Manning (Bruce) and Gary Franke (Marilyn); brother, Gaston L. Ory, Jr. (Mae); grandchildren, David, Will, Chad, Christy, Timmy, Casey, Sarah, Ruth, Shanna, and Jessica; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law's, Ida Shaw and Judy Satchfield; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
