Betty Jean Crump, age 79, of Pascagoula, passed away on August 2, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus E. Crump, her parents, Webbie and Mamie Belle Tyrone, 2 brothers, George Tyrone, and W.L. ""Butter"" Tyrone, and a son-in-law, Greg Vice.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Vice, Charles (Donna) Crump, Melessia (David) Fulton, Bobby (Terry) Crump, Doug (Stephanie) Crump, Gary (Gayle) Crump, and Lora (Randall) Johnston, a sister, Charlene Hamilton, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Crump was an active and longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, and she worked in the Pascagoula School System cafeteria's for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Light, especially Rhonda Deschesnes, for their care and concern.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 10 am - 12 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 12 pm in the church. Burial will be in Serene Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Light.
