Betty Buterbaugh Smith, age 79, of Gulfport, passed away in Covington, LA, on February 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mona Buterbaugh, of Johnstown, PA; and her brother, Franklin Jr. Hart.

Betty is survived by her children, Glenda M. Sizemore, Kevin J. Wagner, Bonnie M. Venable and Eric Wagner; her brother, Richard Buterbaugh (Rita); her grandchildren, Raylee Peterson, Joshua Peterson Jr. and Amanda Peterson, Joshlynn Peterson; her great-grandchildren, Gregory Venable, Jr., Charles Venable, Jamie N. Smith, James M. Smith, II, Elijah River Sizemore, Brannon Sizemore, Summer Ashley Wagner and Tabitha Wagner, Tyler M. Smith, Kaelyn Culpepper, David Chase Eustice, II, Aubreanna M. Hail, Gregory L. Venable, III and ; her great-great grandchildren, Presleigh R. Black, Madelynn S. Procell, Paislyn R. Procell and Gray Barrett; and a special friend, Harold L. Ridaught, III.
