Bettie Barrett

Bettie F. Barrett age 76 of Saucier passed away on March 9, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Catherine Freeman as well as her loving husband James B. Barrett.
She is survived by her children; James M. Barrett, Karl B. Barrett, Sonja and Joel Sandig and four wonderful grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Jacob, and Joanna.
Bettie was a loving mother, teacher, healer, and friend. She embodied a love and warmth that touched everyone who knew her. The memory of "Maw Bettie" and the lessons and love she dispensed will be cherished by her friends and family forever. Even as we mourn our loss we acknowledge that the blessing of having had her in our lives is greater than that pain and we are grateful. Rest easy mom you carried the load of ten men and never complained. We will love and cherish you forever.
A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A burial will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
