Bessie Chambliss

Bessie Lou Wells Chambliss, age 70, passed away in Gautier, on Saturday, February 4, 2017.
A Native of Lucedale, MS., she had resided in Gautier for many years. Bessie had a great love for flowers, plants and her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Penny Wells; her husband, Jerrell Chambliss; brothers, Troy Wells and Roy Wells; nephew, Bobby Summerlain and cousin, William Gibson.
She is survived by daughter, Angie Thompson Stewart (Mark); grandson, James Thompson and granddaughter, Audra Thompson.
Per Bessie Lou's wishes, she will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Macpeleah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
