Bertha Ann Buley, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
Ms. Buley was born on November 11, 1933, in New Hebron, MS. She grew up in Gulfport and graduated from Gulfport High School. During her life she worked 35 years with the Harrison County School District where she retired. Her hobbies were singing and strumming her guitar. In recent years she enjoyed drawing and sharing stories with her grandchildren.
Ms. Buley was preceeded in death by her husband, Garl Buley; and three sons, Bobby, John and Chuck Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter, Andra White and son-in-law Raymond; daughter-in-law, Carol. Ms. Buley had 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
The family gives special thanks to her caregiver, Jenette Cuevas.
Ms. Buley will be laid to rest beside her mother in New Hebron, MS at a later date.
