Bernice Ladner Shaw

Bernice Ladner Shaw, age 100, of the Riceville Community, passed away on March 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce R. Shaw; a daughter, Wanda Fay Putman; and a grandson, Dan Aaron Hendricks.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by a daughter, Wilda Kay Hendricks; 2 granddaughters, Ann Marie Smith and Jan Rachel Martin; and 2 great-granddaughters, Megan Ann Navarre and Coleson Danielle Martin; and other relatives and friends.

She graduated from Sellers High School as the valedictorian, and she owned a dairy business for more than 30 years.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Tally Shaw Cemetery.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, is serving the family.
