Berlyne Blackwell Stewart

Berlyne Blackwell Stewart, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away on July 30, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Stewart; a son, Gregory Blackwell Stewart; her parents, Oscar M. and Margie Lott Blackwell; and her brothers, Norris, Penton, Kenneth, and Wayne Blackwell.
She is survived by two children, John Larry Stewart of Gulfport and Ilyne S. Denmark (Donny) of Laveen, AZ; two grandchildren, Alyssa Danielle Denmark and Donny Denmark (Erin); three great grandchildren, Seth Andrew Denmark, Brody Alexander Denmark, and Briella Alessandra Denmark; a sister in law, Doris Blackwell of Gulfport; and nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of Handsboro United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister and loved by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeview Nursing Home, the nurses and staff at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, and the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.
In memory of Mrs. Stewart, memorial donations may be given to one's favorite charity.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
