She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph D. Petersen. SHe leaves her mother, Joline Petersen, Gulfport, 3 brothers, Thomas D. Petersen, Hattiesburg, Craig A. Petersen, and Douglas Petersen, both of Gulfport, a niece, and 3 nephews.
A private interment was held in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
