Beatrice Mae Lee

Beatrice Mae Lee, age 90, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. A native of Poplarville, Mississippi, Bea made Gulfport her home in 1957, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and care for others.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Lee; her parents, Robert F. Lee, Sr. and Myrtle Elizabeth Chadwick Lee Rester; and her siblings, Adolph Lee, Hazel Spataro, Margie Seal, Gladys Hauk, Nell Smith, Betty Hickman, Robert A. Lee, Gary A. Lee, Susie King, Marvin Lee, and Leroy Lee.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Teresa Lee Hardy, and son-in-law, Luke Hardy; siblings, Arlon Lee, Dianne Stewart, Robert F. Lee, Jr., David Lee, Johnny Lee, Jerry Lee, Fannie Cromer, Michael Lee, and Evelyn Tootle; and her grandchildren, Chadwick James Edwards, Elizabeth Rae Edwards, Brannon Luke Hardy, and Parker Hardy (Brittany). She also leaves behind her cherished grand-fur babies, Benji, Frankie, and Amaya.

Beatrice worked for more than 20 years at the Broadwater Beach Golf Club, where she was known for her warm smile and hardworking spirit. Prior to that she worked as a beautician, placing second in the state competition. Outside of work, she loved cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and sewing. In her younger years, she took pride in keeping her sisters’ hair looking elegant, a small reflection of her lifelong love and care for others.

Bea was the kindest person you could ever meet. She was patient, generous, and always ready to help anyone in need. Her gentle heart and steady love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wall, Dr. Bethala, and Dr. Edupuganti for their compassionate care. We would also like to thank Jenna and "D" from SAAD Hospice for their care in her last days. A special thank you goes to her sister, Dianne, who was her constant companion over the last few years.

Her love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Evergreen Pine Ridge Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport.
