Barry Joe Gilleland, age 55 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Gulfport.
He was a longtime resident of the Lizana Community and was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Barry was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Clarence Cyr.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Gilleland and B.J. Gilleland both of Gulfport; his granddaughter, Charity Gilleland of Gulfport and his loving feline companion, Taz.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
