Barbara "Bobbi" Jean Grieb, born on April 12, 1942, in Illinois, passed away peacefully in Gulfport on July 29, 2025. A devoted mother, sister, and friend, Bobbi’s spirit and kindness touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Having lived in the South for a significant portion of her life, Bobbi later moved to the San Francisco Bay area, where she created lasting memories. Her journey then led her to Hoodsport, Washington, with her late husband, Arthur W. Grieb. Following Arthur’s passing, Bobbi returned to the Gulf Coast, ultimately settling in Diamondhead, where she became a cherished member of the community.
Bobbi had a deep love for animals, particularly cats. She dedicated her time to the feral colonies of cats in Diamondhead, ensuring they were fed and cared for, and worked tirelessly to provide spay and neutering services in collaboration with a local veterinarian. Her compassionate nature extended beyond animals; she found joy in being with her friends and family, often sharing moments filled with laughter as she enjoyed her favorite show, "Judge Judy."
Barbara is survived by her son, Steven Grieb, her brother, Alvin Glenn Hagler, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur W. Grieb, and her sister, Linda King.
Bobbi’s legacy of love and care will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
