Barbara A. Taylor

Barbara A. Taylor, age 96, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Stone County.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward L. Taylor; her son, Daniel L. Taylor; her father, Middleton Lucas; her mother, Norma Lucas; and her brother, Stanley Lucas.

She is survived by her devoted children, Keta Flowers and David Taylor (Debbie Taylor). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Barbara was a high school graduate and dedicated her career to serving the community as a librarian, retiring from the Orange Grove Library. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and found joy in simple but meaningful pleasures, such as sewing, quilting, and working crossword puzzles.

Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Azalea Nursing and Arden Hospice for their loving care and support.
