Audrey Louise Clark

Audrey Louise Clark, age 96, of Ocean Springs, passed away on October 7, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thomas Clark, Jr; a son, Eugene Thomas Clark, III; 2 brothers, Edward Mullen and Eugene Mullen; a 2 sisters, Delphia Cannette and Melanie Bass.

Mrs. Clark is survived by 4 children, Lionel Vincent Clark (Georgia), Arnold Lewis Clark, Stephen Dale Clark, and Audrey Mary Clark; 2 siblings, Lurline Simon and Donald Mullen; honorary daughter, Ronda K. Roelle; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

She was a native of Biloxi and was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs.  She retired twice from Civil Service at KAFB, worked at the Senior Program in D’Iberville, the Ameri Corp Vista Program, and the Forestry Environmental Station – Senior Workers Program.  She enjoyed ceramics, traveling on cruises, RVing with her sisters and friends – any way she could go, she was ready to go!  In her later years, she enjoyed just sitting and playing cards, especially jailhouse rummy, and she always welcomed visitors.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #528 in D’Iberville, a lifetime member of the VFW, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Bella, Donna, Nickie, Stephanie, and the entire Hospice of Light team.  Each of you made her feel so special and loved.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to a favorite charity in her name.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 10 - 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, D'Iberville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church.  Interment will be in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
