Audrey Oliver Clark, age 85, of Long Beach, passed away on January 21, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Annie Johnson Oliver, 3 brothers, Ulyses Oliver, Mark Oliver, Jr., and Eddie Oliver, and 2 sisters, Ursula Favre and Iris Morel.
Survivors include by her loving husband of 56 years, Jimmie ""Bo' Clark, a daughter, Tricia (Richard) Bennett, a grandson, Patrick Bennett, and a great-grandson, Sawyer Bennett, all of Long Beach, a sister, Myrtle Moran, and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey was a native of Bay St. Louis and lived in Orange Grove for 49 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church until moving to Long Beach in 2006 and joining St. Thomas.
The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice staff that helped during Audrey's illness and passing. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you to Dr. Malcolm Dean, Dr. Curtis Broussard, nurse Cynthia, Jan and Sharon. And a very special thanks to her longtime friend, Sr. Consilio Buckley, for her weekley visits.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm Thursday, January 23, 2014, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 pm in the church.
Burial will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
