Audrey Carter

Audrey Faye Carter, age 68 and a resident of Lizana, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She died at her home surrounded by her children and family at her side. Ms. Faye was a fiesty and vibrant woman who loved her children, grandchildren, family and friends dearly. She was adored and admired by everyone who knew her. She will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ulvin and Marie Cuevas; a sister, Elouise Deschamp; four brothers, Clyde, David, Wayne and Edward Cuevas.
She is survived by her four children, a son, Kerry Carter Jr. of Lizana; three daughters, Phyllis (Brian) Phillips of Saucier, Shannon (Gary) Stephenson of Pass Christian, Bridgett (Bill) Carroll of Pass Christian; seven grandchildren, Seth (Amanda) and Dylan Stephenson, Brooke and Blake (Alexis) Carroll, Chase and Ariana Phillips and Libby Carter; five great grandchilden, Amity and Kyler Stephenson, Landen and Caiden Carroll and Kroy Earlywine; two brothers, Junior Cuevas of Lizana and Bobby (Judy) Cuevas of Lizana; two sisters, Doris (Mike) Biegel of Long Beach and Brenda (Jerry) Miller of Tampa, Florida; a brother-in-law, Ben Deschamp of Lizana and several nieces, nephews and countless family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Allison Wall for all the support and love she has given her throughout her years of care and treatment. Many more thanks to Saad Hospice and to everyone who has loved and supported her children and family through this difficult time.
A funeral service will be held on December 31, 2016 at 1 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Wolf River Cemetery in Gulfport.
