Ashtyn Nicole McShane took her last breath in her parents loving arms on August 28, 2013.
She had been battling Neuroblastoma for nearly 3 years and fought until the very end. Ashtyn was born on September 5, 2006 in Gulfport. She enjoyed building legos with her brother, arts and crafts, playing games, riding her bike, swimming, bowling, going to the beach, attending baseball games and was looking forward to having a teacher come to the house so she could start 1st grade. She attended Pre-K 3 at St. Vincent de Paul School.
Ashtyn is survived by her parents, Philip and Jacque McShane, her brother, Dylan, paternal grandparents, David and Patty McShane of Lucedale, maternal grandmother, Barbara Rabuck of Gillette, WY, uncles, Jim Rabuck of Killeen, TX, Kenny (Claudia) McShane of Torrance, CA, and Jon McShane of Gulfport, and 3 cousins, Evan, Ryan, and Molly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
