He was born on August 7, 1929, in New York, and his life spanned nearly a century of remarkable experiences and contributions.
A proud veteran, Arthur distinguished himself by serving overseas as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army at the conclusion of World War II and during the Korean War. His commitment to duty and his country shaped his character and instilled in him values of leadership and service that he carried throughout his life.
Arthur earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, embarking on a successful career in the aerospace sector. He held several middle management positions within esteemed aerospace corporations, where he made significant contributions to the engineering department. His colleagues respected him not only for his expertise but also for his ability to inspire and mentor others within the field.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Arthur's passions in life enriched his days. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed ballroom dancing, and found peace in activities such as fishing and gardening. His love for swimming and reading further showcased his diverse interests, while his affinity for computers kept him engaged with the ever-evolving world of technology.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Masumi Williams, who stood by his side through many chapters of their shared life. He leaves behind two children, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished him and will remember the warmth and wisdom he imparted throughout his life.
