Armando Flores Mata

Armando Flores Mata, Sr, age 68, of Ocean Springs, passed away on July 28, 2012 in Ocean Springs after a long illness.
Armando Flores Mata, Sr was born in Eagle Pass, TX on July 18, 1944, the son of the late Rodolfo M. Mata of Eagle Pass, TX and the late Obdulia Mata Garcia of San Antonio, TX.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Maria Mata and his grandmother, Candalida Flores, all formerly of Eagle Pass, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Mata of Ocean Springs; three sons, Darrell Mata of Ocean Springs, Armando Flores Mata, Jr of Denver. CO, and Johnny Mata of Starke, FL; one daughter, Ramona Delamarter of Katleen, GA; ten grandchildren; stepmother, Cruze Mata of Eagle Pass; six brothers, Rudy Mata of Lawtey, FL, Manuel Mata, Carlos Mata, Celso Mata, Rolando Mata, and Edward Mata, all of Eagle Pass; and two sisters, Dora Ramos of San Antonio, TX and Maria Guedea of Eagle Pass.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
