Anthony Vito Rivolo, Sr.

Anthony Vito Rivolo, Sr., age 91 of Waveland, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Rivolo; son, Anthony Rivolo, Jr.; parents, Vito and Corinne Rivolo; sister, Elizabeth Rivolo Moreci, Frances Marino; and brother, Daniel Rivolo.

Anthony is survived by his son, Vic (Dina) Rivolo; three grandchildren, Anthony Vito Rivolo, III, Dominick Rivolo, and Gina Rivolo; seven great grandchildren, and partner Loucinda Martin.

He grew up in New Orleans, LA and after graduating from high school, Tony joined the United States Army. He is a Korean War Veteran and obtained the rank of Corporal.  An avid wood worker, he made beautiful furniture for himself by hand.  A devote Christian, Anthony rarely missed Sunday School and Church. He thoroughly studied the Bible and loved to visit with people to share the Word of God. He enjoyed to travel in his younger years and always loved to treat himself and Loucinda to Chinese food after church. Tony loved his dog, Peewee.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at St. Joseph Manor, the Clairborne at Thibodaux and Heart of Hospice for their comfort and kindness.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, with the visitation beginning one hour prior in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
