Anthony "Butch" Keith Richmond, age 70, passed away on June 30, 2026.

A Native of Gulfport, Butch was a graduate of Harrison Central High School. He spent more than 40 years as the owner of his own lawn and garden center, where he was known for his hard work, dedication, and love of serving his community.

Butch enjoyed life on the water and was an avid fisherman and boat captain. He especially loved spending time with Elbe, and traveling with his wife, Gwenda and his dog. He was also passionate about giving back to others and proudly sponsored "Take A Kid Fishing," sharing his love of the outdoors with younger generations.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Richmond, and his first wife, Dona Richmond.

He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Gwenda Richmond; his mother, Jo Ann Richmond; his children, Ashleigh Walli, Chris Richmond, and Wil Richmond (Carrie); his siblings, Leslie Landeche and Wade Landeche; his grandchildren, Hadyn Hollis, Blake Walli, Kendall Walli, Preston Richmond, Ellie Herron, and Tayleigh Richmond; and one special nephew, Derek Page.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Community Baptist Church, 17402 Robinson Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
