Annie Pearl “Ann” Ladnier Lizana , 89, of Long Beach, MS passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her cherished home on Klondyke Road following a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Minnie Ladnier; her brother, Willis Ladnier; great-grandson, Caden DiLorenzo; brother-in-law, Chester Dubuisson; nephews, Dennis Dubuisson, Jimmy Ray and Danny Joe Ladnier; niece, Tammy Ladnier, father of her children, Hollie Farmer and his parents DD and Clara Farmer; and special friends, Tommy Seymour and Yancy Conn.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Dubuisson of Pass Christian, MS and was blessed to celebrate and enjoy her loving family of five generations and was affectionally called “mawmaw” Pearl; her three children, Susan Farmer Rivenbark, Christine Farmer DiLorenzo, and Lamar (Jan) Farmer all of Long Beach; seven grandchildren, Shannon Free, Jeremy Lizana (Jenny), Julie Rivenbark, Ginny Farmer Biggerstaff (Heath), David DiLorenzo, Jr. (Adriana), April Davis (Jeff), and Kristy Estay (Paige); 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Ann was a lifelong resident of Long Beach and a member of Long Beach Missionary Baptist Church.  She retired from A&P Food Stores where she made new friendships and loyal customers.  She enjoyed a full and happy life, attended birthday parties, special occasions and her family looked forward to her holiday cooking.  Her favorite hobbies included crocheting, reading, ceramics, taking family pictures at all events, flower gardening, playing board games with friends, traveling, and was a devoted Green Bay Packers Fan. She was also adventurous and spent many hours boating, fishing and camping on Rotten Bayou along with hunting and jeep riding.  Country music was always playing in both her home and vehicles.  She proudly displayed her George Jones, Loretta Lynn and Elvis Presley collectibles and most recently became one of the members of the Laine Hardy Fan Club and received many get well cards from throughout the U.S.

The family would like to thank Dr. Allison Wall, Encompass Home Health and Cannon Hospice Staff for the excellent TLC you provided our mother during this long journey and the family support as well. Our sweet mother truly loved each and every one of you.

A visitation will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home on Commission Road in Long Beach on Saturday, January 14th, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm with services following and interment at Conn Cemetery in Long Beach.
