Annie Elnora Tillman Powell

Annie Elnora Tillman Powell, age 81, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hattie Patrick Tillman and William Albert Tillman; her brothers, Rudolph, Robert, Lewis, Leo, Buddo, Alfred, Jim, Bill, Harvey, and Donald; her sisters, Muriel, Ginny, Emma, Ester, Kimmie, Cammie, Doris, Hattie, Edna, Effie, and Virginia; and her grandson, Justin Powell.
Annie is survived by her husband, Christopher Ware Powell Sr.; her brother, Isaac Lee Tillman; her children, Travis (Celia) Taylor, Charles William ""Bill"" (Hope) Taylor, Tracie Ann (Larry) Burnett, Tammie Lee (Boyce) Kates, Trudy Marie (Wendall) Crumb, and Christopher Ware (Randi) Powell Jr.; her 22 grandchildren; her 43 great grandchildren; and her three great-great grandchildren.
Annie was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit #119, she was of the Baptist Faith and nobody was a stranger, everyone was welcome in her house.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Annie's honor to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit #119/Child Development Center in Harrison Co., 12302 Ashley Dr., Gulfport, MS.
A visitation for family and friends will held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery. A Reception will follow burial at the Gulfport Church of God, 2412 29th Ave., Gulfport.
