Annie Sue McKay Lemmons Davis

Annie Sue McKay Lemmons Davis, 90, of Madison MS, born November 14, 1922 in Camden, MS, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013.
Mrs. Davis, formerly of Long Beach, MS, was retired from Dixie Glass, Gulfport MS. Following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, she moved to Madison, MS, where she lived until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James J. McKay and Ada Alma Cauthen McKay; two sisters, Emma Jean Cotton and Ella Mae Ketchum; one brother, James J. McKay, Jr.; her ex-husband, Norman Lemmons; her husband, Fred Davis; and a grandson, David Keith Hayes.
She is survived by a daughter, Norma Lemmons Hayes (Fred Don) of Olive Branch, MS; a step-son, Rodney K. Davis (Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She also leaves a sister, Mildred Chamblee (John) of Clinton, MS; and two nieces, Linda Hamlett (Mike) and Barbara Alston (John Hayward,) who cared for her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m.. Graveside services will be at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS, at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to charity of the donor's choice.
