Annette Blakeney "Anne" Pavolini

July 18, 1946 — December 6, 2013

Anne was born along with her twin sister Janette to Peggy Joyce and Urel Larry Blakeney on July 18, 1946 in Raleigh, MS. Anne grew up on the Coast in Gulfport and Long Beach, graduating from Long Beach High School in 1964. She obtained a Bachlor of Science degree in Education from Delta State University, and enjoyed teaching elementary school for many years in the Gulfport and Long Beach School systems. She was married for 42 years to her loving husband and best friend Willis Pavolini.
Anne was a truly special person who looked for the good in others, and overlooked their faults. Compassion and love for all of God's creatures was a part of her nature that came from the heart. She shared unselfishly with others and genuinely cared about their welfare.
A quiet nature belied her true inner strength and strong faith. She believed in forgiveness and God's Grace. We know her assent to Heaven is a cause for joy, but this world will be a poorer place without her.
Anne will be remembered and loved forever by her husband Willis Pavolini, mother Peggy Joyce Blakeney, sisters Jannette Easterling and Linda Joyce Blakeney, brother Larry Wesley Blakeney, and her large extended family of relatives and friends.
""Thank you Lord for the blessings in our lives both seen and unseen. Help us to share with those around us, remembering that all good things come from you.""
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, assisted the family with arrangements.
