Born into the Episcopal faith, Annetta was a member of the Church of Redeemer for over 50 years. Later, Annetta and Ernest joined St. MarkaÌ‚â‚â„¢s Episcopal Church in Gulfport. Annetta & Ernest were anxious to help with the rebuilding of St. MarkaÌ‚â‚â„¢s. When the time came, they decided to contribute towards the four lights that currently hang over the alter.
AnnettaaÌ‚â‚â„¢s interests were gardening and being a friend to all animals. Cats were her favorite. Numerous varieties of birds were regulars at the feed stations. The possums, squirrels and raccoons also stopped by for snacks on their back porch. Big Ridge Veterinary of Ocean Springs was helpful and compassionate when she would bring in the stray cats that needed spaying or neutering and medical attention. Annette was a foster parent for the Humane Society of South MS, and helped with various improvement projects and numerous fundraising activities.
The Jordan family would like to thank Connie, Shonda, and the staff of Hospice of Light Singing River Hospital System of Gautier, for their care and compassion.
