Annemarie Holifield

Annemarie Holifield, a longtime resident of Ocean Springs, was born in 1922 in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  A devoted military wife of thirty one years to CW4 Elmer J. Holifield passed away on May 14, 2018 in Ocean Springs.
Annemarie is survived by her two sons, Frederic Holifield and his wife, Alice of Gautier, MS, Dennis Holifield and his wife, Margaret of Canyon Lake, TX; her grandchildren, Tammy Whitley (Mitch) of Lexington, KY, Jacqueline Nipper (Scott) of Peru, IN, Ric Holifield of Peru, IN, Stephanie Holifield of New Jersey, and Amy White (Josh) of Ocean Springs, MS; her daughters-in law, Marie Tillery of Atlanta, GA, and Alicia Perett of Ocean Springs; and her great grandchildren, Austin Whitley, Ashley Whitley, Timothy Strohecker, Christina Strohecker, Anthony Strohecker, Stella Ponder, and Adam Williams.
Annemarie had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by them all.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Ocean Springs Hospital, especially those on the 2nd floor west wing.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Jackson Ave. in Ocean Springs at 11:30 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to Mass.  Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
