Ann Marie Kea, age 46, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016. She was born in Greenville, AL, attended Biloxi High School, and worked for several years as a realtor for Latter and Blum Realty in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Ann Marie was passionate about life, love, friends and family. She had a way of welcoming people and making them feel special with her smile and infectious laugh.
Ann Marie was an advocate for the recovery of the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina as well as the Humane Society where she found her beloved 'Daisy Dog' as she was affectionately called.
Truly a beautiful person inside and out, Ann Marie loved music, food, old movies, playing Spades and other card games, and sharing good times with family and friends she so dearly loved.
She embraced the Gulf Coast in every aspect and had flair in the kitchen creating amazing meals by experimenting with new recipes and improving on old ones, then sharing her gourmet meals with all her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her sweet mother, Janet Whiddon Kea of Gulfport, MS and her beloved daughter, Ashley Dell Kea.
She is survived by her father, John William Kea; her dear step-mother, Maryann Kea of Enterprise, AL; her loving brothers, Estus Scott Kea of Bay St. Louis, MS and Jeffrey Trace Kea and family of Colorado Springs, CO; dear friends, Edna and Neal Lambert of Gulfport, MS; Heidi Cole Chapman and family of Tupelo, MS; as well as the love of her life Alexander Murray of Long Beach, MS.
Ann Marie wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport served the family.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that a donation of any size be made in her name to Canon Hospice, 1520 Broad Avenue, Suite 500, Gulfport, MS 39501.
The family will gather sometime this summer to celebrate her life with shared pictures, stories and special memories of our sweet spirit.
