Ann Peterman Bunn Grenn
Ann died Thursday, December 12, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at home with a 15 year battle with Alzheimers.
Ann came from a large extended pioneering family the Peterman's in Lyman, MS. Ann worked most of her life as a bookkeeper for several home builders and building suppliers. She had a lifelong desire to run her own business, and she owned a successful health food store for 11 years until she became ill.
Ann graduated from Lyman High School in 1958, where she played basketball. She remained friends with many of her classmates most of her life.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Roy R. and Lula C. Peterman; brothers, Russell Peterman, and Michael Peterman; her first husband and the father of her children, Troy E. Bunn, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years and her caregiver for 13 years, George D. Grenn; her children, Debra Clark (Mike), Peggy D. Bunn, Troy E. Bunn, Jr. (Ginger), Charles D. Bunn, Sr, all of Harrison Co., MS, Donna K. Webb (Mark) of Birmingham, AL; brother, Thomas D. Peterman of Lyman, MS; sister, Mary Dell Arnold of Monroe, GA; and sister-in-law, Alice Peterman. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Mike Clark, Jr., Tammy Grantham, Josh Webb, Candace Webb, D.J. Bunn, and Danielle Bunn; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church until she became sick. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Destin, FL, the Great Smokey Mountains, and Branson, MO.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from Noon until 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Deaconess Hospice for their care and compassion.
