Anita Karen Winkler Hibbard

Anita Karen Winkler Hibbard, age 72, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at her home in Gulfport, MS. She was born December 31, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Anita spent 23 years as a proud military wife around the world in the U.S. Coast Guard. She moved to Gulfport in 1977. Anita was retired from Ole South Realty and managed Northwood Mini Warehouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Winkler and Myrtle Price; her son, Robert Christopher ""Chris"" Hibbard; and her grandson, Hagen James Hibbard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Charles M. Hibbard; sons, Charles Mitchell ""Mitch"" Hibbard of Long Beach, MS, James Gregory ""Greg"" (Elizabeth ""Shea"") Hibbard of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Britton Hibbard, Kellon Hibbard, Jack Hibbard and Ali Hibbard of Memphis, TN, Asia Roberson of McHenry, MS, Cade Hibbard of Long Beach, MS and Kyle Hibbard of Gulfport, MS.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-4PM, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will follow Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
